FREEHOLD FRIGHTFEST XIII INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT
Saturday, October 22nd 2011
You are invited to appy for participation in the Freehold Frightfest XII Invitational Soccer Tournament.The tournament will be held on Saturday, October 22nd 2011 and the rain date will be Saturday, October 29thth.
 
All games will be played at various sites in Freehold. Our tournament is open to travel teams in the U-8 thru U-10 divisions. This special one day event will provide your team with a soccer experience that will long be remembered. The Halloween theme will be carried over to all aspects of the tournament and we strongly encourage all participating teams to “get into the spirit of the event.”
 
The tournament is sanctioned by the USYSA and will be played under the jurisdiction of the NJYSA. Teams traveling from outside New Jersey must present the USYSA Permission to Travel Forms. Teams must be duly registered with their state association. In addition, all teams must have their notarized Medical Release forms for each player.
 
The deadline for all applications is September 30th, 2011. However, Freehold Soccer League (FSL) reserves the right to close any division as it becomes full. This is an invitational tournament and we will accept teams based on our divisional needs. Acceptance notification will be posted on our website www.freeholdsoccer.com by September 30th, 2011. We at FSL are proud to announce this is our 13 year anniversary with Frightfest and we would like to thank all of the past and present teams for helping make this event a yearly success.
 
This year we are using on-line registration and payment for the tournament.
If your team is not accepted for any reason, you will receive a full refund. 
If you are accepted and drop out, you will forfeit your application fee.

Age Groups
: Boys and Girls Travel Teams U-8 thru U-10

Competition
: This tournament is for club and tournament teams. No state or league select teams will be accepted. Each team will play 2 games on Saturday, October 22rnd, 2011. There will be no recording of scores or standings. Teams will not participate in a shootout, all ties will stand.
3 levels of play – Premier, Club, Lower
Roster Size: Short Sided maximum roster for all teams is 14 players. This may include 2 guest players.
 
Sanction: This tournament is NJYSA approved. USYS state rosters, player passes, and notarized medical release forms are required for all teams. Permission to travel forms are required for teams outside NJ. 
 
Referees: State licensed referees will be used for all divisions
 
Fee: $275 for all divisions. If the tournament is cancelled for any reason before the start of the tournament, teams will be refunded 80% of their entry fee. The reasons include, but are not limited to severe weather, field usage, or a FSL organization management decision.  
 
Awards: Participation awards will be given out to all players. Awards will be given out
to teams with the best costumes and best team pumpkin at each location. Costumes are not to be worn during the games if they interfere or cause harm to the player or other players.
 
Patches: Each participant will receive a tournament patch. We strongly encourage the exchange of club patches between competing teams at the end of each game.
 
General: You must have a valid New Jersey Drivers License to operate a golf cart at the tournament
