2012 GIRLS SPRING RECREATION PROGRAM

ELIGIBILITY:
|
Must be a Freehold Boro or Township resident during the season of play.
GIRLS ONLY - Pre-K (child must be entering kindergarten in September of 2012) through 8th Grades. PLEASE NOTE – WHEN YOU REGISTER WE NEED THE GRADE YOUR CHILD IS IN DURING SPRING 2012.

REQUIREMENTS:
|
Children must provide their own shin guards. Cleats are optional but must be soccer cleats.

REGISTRATION:
|
On-Line REGISTRATION at www.freeholdsoccer.com: OCTOBER 1, 2011 – FEBRUARY 15, 2012. LATE REGISTRATION IS FROM FEBRUARY 16, 2012 – MARCH 15, 2012

GAMES/PRACTICES:
|
Season is from April - June. Game times and locations vary, but usually the younger girls will play games at Errickson School and/or Laura Donovan and the older girls will play at Jackson Mills fields. BE ADVISED THERE MAY BE FRIDAY NIGHT GAMES UNDER THE LIGHTS AT OPATUT FOR THE OLDER GIRLS. Practice times and locations are up to the coach.

$115.00 PER CHILD. REGISTER ON-LINE BEFORE FEBRUARY 15, 2012 AND SAVE $25.00 PER CHILD.

COACHING REQUIREMENTS:
|
All coaches, head coaches and assistant coaches are required by the Township of Freehold to have a background check performed which will require the person to be fingerprinted. Instructions for fingerprinting are available on the Freehold Soccer web site. This must be completed 30 days prior to the start of the season. Coaches are still required to be Rutgers Certified which is at the expense of FSL. Coaches must also complete a Volunteer Kid Safe Statement which can also be found under the forms section of www.freeholdsoccer.com.
Coaches and Assistant Coaches will be required to attend a “Positive Coaching Alliance” class if they have not done so already.
Coaches and Assistant Coaches will be required to take an on-line Concussion Awareness course is they have not already done so.
Coaches and Assistant Coaches will be required to sign and abide by a Code of Conduct policy.
