NEXT FESTIVAL SESSION: Spring 2011
About the FeStivaL program:
- Open to boys moving into the U8 age division (Next year: born between August 1, 2003 - July 30, 2004) and played 1st grade recreation soccer during the previous fall in the FSL
- Sessions take place at Opatut (soccer side)
- Participants play in small-sided games (up to 4 v 4)
- Basic ball control and foot skill activities are introduced each week
- Playing the game and maximizing each player’s involvement with the ball is the main objective
- Provides an opportunity to test your son’s interest in trying out for the FSL Travel program taking place in June
- A great opportunity for potential coaches to get involved and be evaluated for consideration to join the FSL Travel program.
Participants should:
- Bring a soccer ball (make sure name is on ball)
- Wear shin guards
- Wear soccer cleats
- Bring plenty of water
